ROME – A morning of great inconvenience for motorists travelling on the A1 Milan-Naples, due to an accident that caused long queues in the stretch between Colleferro and Valmontone, towards Rome.
The accident occurred around 9:45 at km 590, immediately causing significant slowdowns has always been queue that reached 10 km. Emergency services and highway management personnel intervened on site to restore traffic flow as quickly as possible.
After the removal operations of the vehicles involved, the stretch was completely reopened and traffic has gradually resumed flowing. Currently, traffic has returned to normal and vehicles can travel on all lanes available, although they may persist residual slowdowns due to the congestion accumulated in the previous hours.
