Napoli InCanta opens its fifth edition, scheduled for March 28th and 29th, confirming its position as a key event for children's choirs in Southern Italy. The project, promoted by the Pietà de' Turchini Foundation, focuses on environmental protection through musical performances.
### Program and Participations
The event kicks off on Friday, March 28 with "Conversations on Composition and Choral Practice," a virtual discussion between composers and choir directors that will be available on the platform Turchini Live. The following day, Saturday 29th, young choirs will perform live at the FOQUS Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli headquarters.
### Support and Collaborations
The event is supported by organizations such as the MIC, the Campania Region, and the City of Naples, and enjoys the patronage of Feniarco and ARCC. A central objective is the promotion of new works for youth choirs, thanks to the contributions of composers such as Andrea Gambarana, Gianpiero Castagna, Bernardo Maria Sannino, Chiara Mallozzi, and Salvatore Murru. In addition to nurturing musical talent, Napoli InCanta offers young people the opportunity to integrate into a broader musical community, fostering social interaction and cooperation. The Pietà de' Turchini Foundation supports participants' personal and social development through music.

The initiative of Napoli InCanta seems interesting to me, but I don't understand very well how the white voices can contribute to the protection of the environment. I hope that there will be clearer explanations on this point during the event.
