The Forensic Congressional Body expresses its firm and profound indignation at the closure of the Justice of the Peace Office of North Naples.
A decision that represents a serious step backwards in the management of justice in the territory, an unjustifiable dismantling that compromises the rights of citizens and the exercise of the legal profession.
It is unacceptable for a civilized country that a judicial office is closed due to the lack of personnel, a known problem for years. Justice cannot be suspended, but requires immediate intervention by the Ministry of Justice to restore the office to full operation.
The Forensic Congressional Body stands by the lawyers of the Naples North Bar Association and calls for immediate action to reverse the course of the degradation of local justice that has been denounced for some time: extraordinary measures must be adopted to fill the serious staff shortages, a ministerial request for new resources must be launched, an extraordinary plan must be made to clear the backlog and the office must be closed immediately.
The Forensic Congressional Body will not stand by and watch as a massacre is committed against justice and the legal profession. If concrete and immediate answers do not arrive, OCF is ready to promote any initiative necessary to restore legality and the right to justice in the territory.
