For passengers on the stopped train and the two queuing trains, Trenitalia has arranged a full refund of the ticket price and provided assistance kits at Rome Termini.

Operations are underway to transfer passengers to another train alongside the line. AV trains continue to be diverted to the conventional Rome-Naples lines via Formia and via Cassino with extensions in travel times.
