An explosion caused by a gas leak shook a house on Via Peschiera in Marcianise, in the province of Caserta, leaving two women and a boy injured.
The accident, which occurred in the last few hours, caused the partial collapse of some internal walls of the apartment, generating panic among residents in the area.
The Marcianise Fire Department, supported by the Caserta team, promptly intervened on the scene of the accident. The rescuers worked quickly to free the three people trapped in the rubble, managing to save them.
The injured, immediately assisted by the 118 personnel who arrived with the ambulances, were urgently transported to the hospitals of Caserta and Marcianise to receive the necessary treatment.
The causes of the gas leak are still being investigated, while the Fire Department continues to carry out checks to assess the stability of the building and prevent further risks. The incident has brought attention back to the safety of domestic systems, an increasingly crucial issue for the prevention of accidents of this nature.
