Naples – A violent brawl between very young people shook the historic center, culminating in the arrest of three boys.
On the night of May 26, near Vico San Giovanni Maggiore, a group of young people clashed with unprecedented ferocity, even using cutting weapons.
The investigations of Carabinieri of the Compagnia Napoli Centro, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, led to the issuing of precautionary measures for three 19-year-olds. One of them was ordered to reside in the municipality of Naples, while the other two were banned from residing in the city.
The brawl, which also involved other individuals in the process of being identified and minors, had a dramatic epilogue. One of the arrested youths pulled out a knife, but was in turn stabbed several times.
Other boys and a passerby, not involved in the incident, reported injuries, with the latter deemed curable in 12 days.
The episode has raised strong concerns among local residents, who continue to report growing violence among young people and the need for targeted interventions to combat the phenomenon.
The Carabinieri continue their investigations to identify all those responsible and shed full light on the incident.
