Massimo Saretta’s photography exhibition “Asia” has left the Antisale dei Baroni del Maschio Angioino after attracting 10.000 visitors. The exhibition will continue its tour in Italy until December 2026, with the next stop in Venice. The collection includes 100 images that capture the landscapes, stories and cultures of various Asian countries, including India, Cambodia, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Japan and Thailand.
The photographer tells
Massimo Saretta, a Leica certified photographer, said: “I returned to Naples after five years and the welcome was wonderful. Ten thousand visitors in one month is a significant number and I am happy to have exhibited my work in this city”. Saretta expressed gratitude to the city administration and the Leica brand for the support received.
The exhibition, curated by Gastone Scarabello and coordinated by Alberto Sichel and Carla Travierso, is based on the photographic volume “Asia”, with a preface by Vittorio Sgarbi. The tour, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Naples, will continue in various Italian cities until 2026, with the collaboration of various Asian embassies.
Massimo Saretta
Born in 1958 in Padua, Massimo Saretta has dedicated his life to the art of photography, obtaining recognition both nationally and internationally. His career is characterized by a deep commitment to reportage, especially in his travels in Asia that began in 2000. Thanks to his experience, each shot of Saretta is a story of emotions and cultural experiences.
