The writer Paolo deor Pemartnapoli created a mural in homage to Eduardo De Filippo and to the 80th anniversary of the comedy “Napoli milionaria!”.
The work was painted on a building in Via Emanuele de Deo, in the Spanish Quarter, an area already famous for the large mural dedicated to Diego Armando Maradona.
Tribute to Eduardo De Filippo
The mural depicts Eduardo De Filippo in the role of Pulcinella while he takes off his mask, accompanied by the phrase “Pulcinella nun more maje!”, which underlines the immortality of his work.
The comedy “Napoli milionaria!” debuted in 1945 at the San Carlo theatre and immediately became a public success, consolidating its importance in the Italian theatrical panorama.
With this tribute, the writer contributes to the memory of one of the greatest Italian playwrights, whose work continues to live and be celebrated both at home and abroad.

I read about Paolo deor Pemartnapoli's work and it seems like a nice way to remember Eduardo De Filippo. The mural is certainly an original and interesting idea, but it would be nice if there was more space for other similar works.
