The State Police arrested a 37-year-old Ghanaian in Porta Capuana for possession of narcotics for the purpose of shop.
The intervention took place yesterday evening when the officers of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, during regular checks in the area, noticed an individual sitting on a bench while he was giving an object in exchange for money to another person.
As soon as they observed the suspicious transaction, the officers promptly intervened. The buyer was found with the dose he had just purchased, while the seller tried to flee, but was immediately stopped.
A package of cocaine, 155 euros in cash of various denominations and materials for packaging drugs were found on him.
Subsequently, under the bench where the man was sitting, the police discovered two more packages containing the same substance. The seller was then arrested, while the buyer was administratively sanctioned for illicit possession of narcotics for personal use.
