The event, which will involve seven shopping centers in five Italian regions, will stop in the Campania capital on 2th April, at the shopping center The BreweryThe initiative is developed on two phases and involves 28 schools, 527 classes and over 10 thousand students distributed in the seven Odos Group shopping centres: Doors of Moncalieri (Turin), The Gardens of Biella, Malpensa One of Gallarate (Varese), Esselunga of Lissone (Monza and Brianza), Panorama of Villorba (Treviso), Two Seas of Maida (Catanzaro) and The Naples Brewery.
The heart of the project is the “Mabasta Model”, an innovative anti-bullying protocol created by young people of Mabasta Movement, founded and led by Mirko CazzatoThe model includes a set of practical actions that each participating class can adopt to promote a safe school environment, based on two fundamental principles: do not do to others what we would not want done to us and behaving towards others as we would like others to behave towards us.
Educational materials and awareness raising
The students involved will receive the booklet “The Reality of Words”, which tells stories and offers practical advice to combat the phenomenon. The text is also accompanied by a educational comic which features the characters Odos and Ball, engaged in dealing with a case of bullying against a classmate, little Luca. The comic will help the kids to recognize the problem, react and support those in difficulty.

From 1 ° April 2025, all the shopping centres involved will host the “Month against bullying and cyberbullying”, an educational journey inside the shopping galleries. Here, thanks to interactive totems with QR code, visitors will be able to explore alternative endings of the story of Odos and Palla, to understand the consequences of a lack of intervention against bullying.
The project will culminate in the #EnoughWords Day, an event where students will gather in various shopping centers to meet the volunteers of the Mabasta Movement, Local Authorities and Associations of the territoryIt will be a day of comparison, awareness and fun, with a common goal: defeat bullying and cyberbullying.

It is a good idea to address bullying, but I wonder if the students will actually participate or if they will just be physically present without involvement. I hope the activities are interesting and useful for everyone.
It's a great initiative, I hope it will really help kids understand the problem of bullying and cyberbullying. It's important that there is more awareness on these issues to prevent it from happening again. Well done to those who organized it.
