The Most Holy Community Hub of Napoli "It's not a nightclub" is an urban regeneration project with a cultural vocation that returns spaces to the community for the community.
This is what we read in a statement from the Santissima - Community Hub, regarding the events of recent days that led to the preventive seizure of only the entrance on Vico Trinita' delle Monache and a 200-square-meter internal room of the building.
La Santissima - Community Hub is a constantly evolving cultural hub, a temporary urban regeneration project, developed in collaboration with the State Property Agency and the Municipality of Naples, which is returning to the city over 7.000 square meters of a space that had been closed for over thirty years. A place where different creative, artistic, and productive realities meet daily to build a broad and varied cultural offering.
Already today, the Santissima boasts established partners operating in the fields of film and theater production, visual arts, and creativity. In recent months, the space has hosted a varied and growing cultural program: contemporary art exhibitions, a design market, talks, innovative cultural formats, various musical events, live concert series, and events organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples.
By the end of the month, "we would have inaugurated 'The Community': an entire floor ready to house all the resident partners."

La Santissima is an ongoing project, growing day by day, and today only a fraction of its potential is visible. What we are building is much more than an event venue: it is a cultural infrastructure that will span multiple levels, from contemporary art to creative production, from theater to music, from cinema to new technologies.
Each space will be activated progressively, as soon as the redevelopment work is completed", says Alessandra Attena, project manager of La Santissima - Community Hub.
The recent news story "concerns only a small portion of the building and does not represent the true scale of the project. Currently, the spaces of the Santissima Community Hub are inaccessible not because of the precautionary seizure, which only affects the entrance on Vico Trinita' delle Monache and the 200-square-meter interior hall, but because of the closure of the Parco dei Quartieri Spagnoli due to the collapse of some trees that will be cut down.
"Compliance with current regulations is the fundamental requirement and principle for La Santissima, and if this is met, its doors are always open to anyone needing space," the statement concludes.
