Naples – The Centro Direzionale station on Line 1 of the Naples metro is ready to be handed over to Anm, the city's public transport company. The announcement came during a meeting held today at the company's headquarters.
After the handover, further checks will be required by technicians from Ansfisa (National Agency for the Safety of Railways and Road and Motorway Infrastructure). To allow for these checks, the entire route will be closed to the public starting from Saturday 15 March at 14:16 p.m. and for the entire day of Sunday XNUMX March.
In the meantime, train drivers and station agents will be engaged in a training course on the new infrastructure, as reported by the Usb Lavoro Privato coordination.
The official opening of the Centro Direzionale station is expected by the end of March. With its entry into service, Line 1 will reach twenty stations, pending the activation of the nearby Tribunale stop.
