During a debate with the Minister of Sport Andrea Abodi and the president of Napoli Aurelio De Laurentiis, the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi expressed his openness to the appointment of a special commissioner for the construction of the new stadium.
"We are not against the idea of a new stadium.", declared Manfredi, "but it is necessary to approach the issue pragmatically and find the best solution together."
The mayor stressed the complexity of the current regulations and the need for extraordinary powers to speed up the process.

The idea of the extraordinary commissioner could be a good idea, but it is true that there are many complications to deal with. Let's hope that a solution is found that is acceptable to everyone and that there are no delays.
