The action of the State Police continues in Napoli with extraordinary services for the prevention and fight against crimes related to the illegal possession of weapons and drug trafficking. As part of these operations, two men aged 30 and 33 were arrested in the last few hours.
Blitz in the Traiano District: drugs and resistance to a public official
Yesterday evening, officers from the San Paolo Police Station carried out a check on a home in the Rione Traiano, surprising a 30-year-old who attempted to prevent them from entering. After a brief resistance, the officers managed to enter and found 10 grams of cocaine, a precision scale, drug packaging material and 355 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity. The man was arrested for possession of narcotics and resisting a public official.
Street dealing: 33-year-old caught red-handed
This morning, however, the officers of the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station identified a 33-year-old in via San Cosmo Fuori Porta Nolana while he was selling a dose of drugs to a buyer, who then fled. The suspect was stopped and found in possession of four packages of crack and 50 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. He was also arrested.
The operation is part of a broader control plan prepared by the Naples Police Headquarters, aimed at combating drug trafficking and related crimes.

It is important that the Police do these checks, but I wonder if they are enough to stop drug trafficking. The situation in the Traiano district seems complicated and more support for young people is needed.
