Naples – A violent robbery took place last night in the heart of the city. A 40-year-old Neapolitan, with no criminal record, was attacked while walking along Corso Umberto I.
According to an initial reconstruction, two men riding a scooter approached him, threatening him with a gun to get him to hand over a Rolex and cash.
Before fleeing, the criminals stabbed the victim in the right cheek. The man was subsequently rescued and taken to the emergency room of the Pellegrini hospital, where doctors gave him a five-day prognosis.
The episode is being investigated by the police of the Napoli Centro company, committed to reconstructing the incident and tracing the identity of the attackers. The military are analyzing images from public and private cameras in the area.
But at the same time they are verifying the veracity of the story of the robbed and injured man.

This episode is very worrying, especially because violence seems to be increasing in the streets of Naples. I hope that the authorities will be able to find those responsible and that the victim will recover soon from this bad experience.
