Naples – A flurry of extraordinary checks by the Carabinieri of the Company of Poggioreale in the streets of the city. A 25-year-old, Emanuele Capriglia, already known to the police, ended up in handcuffs on charges of resisting a public official.

The operation did not stop there. During the checks, two drivers were reported at large after testing positive to the breathalyzer, while another young man was reported to the Prefecture for possession of a small quantity of drugs.
The balance of the checks is clear: 23 people identified, 11 of whom had criminal records, and 12 vehicles were inspected. The Carabinieri issued five traffic violations, for a total amount exceeding 5.000 euros, also ordering the administrative seizure of a vehicle.
