Naples – Yesterday, the State Police conducted an extraordinary control operation at Porta Nolana and surrounding areas, involving a large deployment of law enforcement and local institutions.
The activity, coordinated by the Police Station Vicar-Mercato, saw the participation of personnel from the Guardia di Finanza, the Carabinieri, the Metropolitan Police, the Local Police and the ASL Napoli 1 Centro, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department.
During the checks, 9 commercial establishments were inspected, whose owners were given administrative fines for a total of 12 thousand euros and 32 prescriptions of various kinds were imposed. In addition, 25 kg of untraceable food products were seized, highlighting irregularities in the retail sector.
The operation led to the identification of 65 people, including one individual reported for driving without a license, a crime already repeated over the last two years. 22 vehicles were also checked, as part of an action aimed at combating crime and ensuring safety in the area.
The joint intervention of the police forces confirms the commitment to combating irregular activities and protecting legality, with particular attention to areas with high commercial density such as Porta Nolana, which has always been a crossroads of traffic and economic activities.
