The exhibition "Masterpieces of No One" debuts at the Diocesan Museum of Caserta as part of an initiative to enhance historic sites. Promoted by Rosso Vanvitelliano, this event is part of the Jubilee Year and the "Give a Hand to the World" Charter of Intent. The collaboration between the Diocese of Caserta and the Laudato Si' Circles of Italy made the exhibition possible.
### An Anonymous Exhibition
Scheduled from March 29 to April 10, the works will be exhibited every day from 17:30 pm to 20:00 pm. Admission is free and visitors can book theatrical tours. The works, without any recognized author, come from different contexts and were saved from destruction thanks to the restoration of the artist Salvatore Di Caprio. The aim is to reveal the often hidden beauty of these creations.
### A Message of Altruism
Enriched by theatrical visits, the project involves the young artists of Fabbrica Wojtyla through the “Monodialoghi” conceived by Patrizio Ranieri Ciu. These performances address social issues and evoke the mandate of humility and generosity attributed by Pope John Paul II to the theater company.
### Alternative Valorization
The exhibition shifts the focus from the importance of the author to the content expressed by the works. Patrizio Ranieri Ciu highlights the importance of human continuity, a central element also in a social initiative planned in the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison. Here, the dialogue with the inmates is guided by the idea that humility can lead to personal recognition.

The idea of exhibitions without authors is interesting but I don't know if the goal is really clear. Maybe it would be useful to have more information about how the works were chosen and what they represent in the current context.
I agree with Nadia, it seems like a positive initiative but there are too many unanswered questions. I hope that more details will be provided during the exhibition to better understand the meaning of the works.
I also wonder if theatre visits are enough to fully understand the message of these works. It could be interesting to organize post-visit debates to stimulate dialogue among visitors.
