An Itinerary of Women's Stories
The route includes important places in Naples to tell the stories of iconic female figures. In Piazza del Gesù Nuovo, Eleonora Pimentel Fonseca, patriot and intellectual, is remembered, while in Piazza San Domenico Maggiore the story of Maria d'Avalos, involved in a tragic crime of honor, will be told. In San Gregorio Armeno the world of the Janare, the legendary witches, is explored, and in San Lorenzo Maggiore Matilde Serao, pioneer of Italian journalism, is celebrated. The tour continues along Via dei Tribunali, paying homage to Sophia Loren, symbol of Neapolitan redemption, and remembering Maria Rosaria Liberti, one of the first feminists in Naples. This tour is not only a historical celebration, but an immersive experience that, with the help of earphones, offers a clear listening of the stories during the journey. At the end, there will be a surprise dedicated to the figure of the Neapolitan woman.

The event seems interesting but I don't know if I can attend, I have to check my schedule. The stories of rebellious women are very important but maybe there should be similar events in other cities for greater inclusion.
