This was stated by the president of Confesercenti Campania and national vice president, Vincenzo Schiavo, regarding the flow of tourists expected in Campania for the Easter period.
”As can be seen from the flight and train bookings, most of the tourists will arrive on Thursday 17 April, while the departures are almost all concentrated on 22 April, so it will be a rather long holiday period, thanks to the long weekend with the anniversary of the Liberation of Italy, with the possibility of arriving, even if it is too early to give precise estimates, at around 60 million euros in turnover.
There will be significant earnings for bars, but also for clothing stores and artisan workshops,” explains Schiavo.
"Tourists in fact want to take away a souvenir from Naples, which is usually of a craft, food and wine nature". According to the president of Confesercenti Campania, "for now, more than a month after the Easter period, 60% of the accommodation facilities, hotels and non-hotels, are occupied".
