Pomigliano – An operation by the Local Police Pomigliano d'Arco led to the discovery of an illegal activity of illegal slaughter of wild boars and to the reporting of two people for illegal immigration.
The agents, led by Colonel Emiliano Nacar, intervened in a building on Via Miccoli, where four citizens of Sri Lankan origin were slaughtering, processing and packaging wild boar meat in irregular hygienic-sanitary conditions. The scene that the operators found in front of them was defined as alarming, leading to the immediate criminal seizure of the premises.
The health district also intervened on site, ordering an administrative seizure of the meat to verify its traceability. The slaughtered animals were transferred to a cold storage room for further checks.
Building violations and reports
During the raid, also coordinated by Second Lieutenant D'Ambrosio, some rooms of the building that had been illegally used as housing, in violation of urban planning regulations, were discovered and seized.
The four men were subjected to photodactyloscopic examinations at the Interregional Cabinet of Scientific Police. Two of them, found to be irregular on Italian territory, were reported for violation of immigration laws.
The operation is part of a broader program of territorial control and fight against illegal activities, with particular attention to health, construction and administrative violations.
