The judge Umberto Lucarelli accepted the request abbreviated judgment and reserved the right to decide on the psychiatric assessment requested by the defendant's defense.

At the end of the hearing, the lawyer Marco DeScisciolo, lawyer of the Romano family, declared: “A request for a psychiatric assessment was made by the defendant's defense, represented by the lawyer Luca Raviele. At the moment it has been rejected, but the judge will evaluate whether to grant it during the abbreviated trial”.The verdict is expected next 29th April.
