TURIN (ITALPRESS) – An operation by the State Police led to the arrest of four people involved in the trafficking of a newborn baby. The little girl, “presumably born in August,” arrived in Italy last October aboard a ship from Tangier, transported in a shopping bag and not registered on the passenger list, with the intention of being sold in Turin.
Those arrested include two Moroccan citizens, husband and wife, accused of having “illegally introduced the newborn from Morocco into Italy”. The other two compatriots were arrested for the crime of aiding and abetting, for having “illegally aided the newborn’s stay on national territory”. The operation was called “Save the Baby”.

This is a very worrying situation that makes us reflect on how human trafficking can also happen in such horrific ways. The protection of the most vulnerable, such as newborns, must be a priority.
This article highlights a serious but often ignored problem in society. We all need to do more to protect children and make sure these terrible things don't happen again.
The article talks about a serious and sad thing, but there are many errors in the way it is written. The newborn should not have been treated like this, the police did a good job but there are details that do not add up.
It is incredible that there are people who do this. The law must severely punish those who traffic children, the life of a newborn is very important and cannot be put in danger by personal interests.
