A worker from the company that carries out work on the Tiber bank told Adnkronos the details of a tragic accident that occurred near the Amedeo Duca d'Aosta bridge. "He made a few strokes and we saw him go down," the witness said.
According to the story, the young man, a black man, stripped and jumped into the water. Despite a traffic policeman present at the scene repeatedly calling him, telling him “Come here, come here,” the boy continued to swim toward the other bank, moving further away. The worker and his colleagues noticed the young man jump into the water and promptly called for help, not seeing him resurface.
The search operations continue, with the involvement of the river police and fire brigade divers.

It's very sad what happened, especially for the young man's family. I don't understand why he didn't hear the policeman calling him. I hope that the rescuers can find him quickly and bring him home.
This news is very sad and makes you think about how important it is to have more safety in places where there are deep waters. I hope that the young man will be found soon and that the situation can improve for everyone.
