A three-story building collapsed around 8,30:XNUMX a.m. in Rome's Gianicolense area, following an explosion probably caused by a gas leak.
The Carabinieri intervened on site, in via Vitellia at the intersection with via Pio Foa'. One person, a fifty-year-old of Scottish origins, was transported by 118 in red code to Sant'Eugenio after being extracted from the collapsed building.
According to reports, he suffered injuries to his legs and burns on 70% of his body. The search by firefighters and carabinieri continues to exclude that there are other people among the rubble. Several local police patrols are also on site to cordon off the area and close off roads.
