Rome – “We have completed the electoral lists, we are truly satisfied, we have nearly 100% coverage of schools throughout Italy with more than 20 thousand candidates”.
This is how Ivana Barbacci, general secretary of Cisl Scuola, talks about the elections for the RSU of the sector that will be held in mid-April. In an interview with the Dire agency, the unionist underlines: “Now we will play it all on the contents.
We are certain that the school will find itself in our model: we believe in school autonomy, we want to relaunch collegial bodies, we focus on training and enhancing staff, also by streamlining bureaucratic procedures”. Are you focusing in particular on Rome? “Colleagues in the Capital have done an excellent job, in Rome and the province there will certainly be an excellent result for the c”, concludes Barbacci.

The RSU elections seem to me to be a very important topic for the future of school in Italy. We hope that the candidates can truly bring about positive changes, even if I am not sure how the voting will actually take place.
