Salerno – They threatened to spread a compromising photo to extort money from the victim. Two women were arrested by the Flying Squad of Salerno on charges of extortion in competition.
The episode dates back to March 15, when a man called 112 reporting that he had received an extortionate request from two women he knew. According to what investigators reconstructed, the suspects had demanded 140 euros not to publish a photograph of him accompanied by an insulting phrase.
The officers, arriving on the scene, found that the women had already left, but had left a color image in front of the victim's house that portrayed him smoking a pipe. The photo was accompanied by the caption: "CF big entrepreneur ... while having evenings with escorts and crack", in addition to the threat of making it public in the event of non-payment.
In the afternoon, after filing a complaint at the police station, the victim arranged a new meeting with one of the two women, who in the meantime continued to send him messages on WhatsApp with pressing requests for money.
The officers, stationed near the agreed location, witnessed the delivery of the money and intervened, stopping the car in which the woman had gotten into. The second accomplice was driving, and she spontaneously handed over a package containing another copy of the compromising photograph.
The two women were taken to the Flying Squad offices and found in possession of the sum just received from the victim. One was transferred to prison, as she was homeless, while the other was placed under house arrest.

This is a very serious fact that happens in the city. People should never be forced to pay to avoid publication of compromising photos, I hope that justice takes its course and severely punishes those responsible.
