Salerno – He fired five gunshots at the door of the house where his ex-partner lives with her new partner, then fled and was involved in a car accident.
To avoid police intervention, he asked the two girls in the other car not to call for help, confessing to being armed and in possession of drugs.
The gun and drugs were recovered by two friends of the young man, who also accompanied him to the hospital. He told doctors that he had been hit while walking, but his castle of lies did not prevent his arrest.
The 23-year-old from Salerno is now under house arrest, following a provision issued by the investigating judge of Nocera Inferiore and executed by the Salerno Flying Squad and the agents of the Nocera police station.
The two friends, a 43-year-old man and a 25-year-old boy, have been banned from living in Nocera Inferiore. The prosecutor's office is charging them with the crimes of illegal possession and carrying of a firearm, while the 23-year-old must also answer for aggravated threats, dangerous explosions and simulation of a crime.
The episode dates back to November 8, when the young man shot at the house of his ex-partner, who lives with his new partner, who is also his brother, threatening them both. The investigators were able to reconstruct the story thanks to the analysis of video surveillance images of the area.
The 23-year-old was tracked down today by officers of the Battifolle (Arezzo) Highway Police. During a search of the 43-year-old's home, 80 pre-packaged doses of cocaine were found. The man was arrested for possession with intent to sell drugs and is awaiting a hearing to validate his house arrest.
