A 55 year old woman San Martino Valle Caudina, LMR, was acquitted of the charge of false attestation. The decision was made by the preliminary hearing judge, Dr. Di Bartolomeo, at the Court of Avellino.
The defendant, assisted by lawyers Vittorio Fucci and Daniela Martino, had been accused of having falsely certified some declarations during 2023, according to what was claimed by the Public Prosecutor.
The Public Prosecutor had requested the indictment, but the judge ruled that there was no case to answer. The sentence represents a success for the defense that effectively argued the lack of grounds to support the accusation.
LMR was therefore cleared of the charges of false attestation, thus closing a judicial chapter that saw the active intervention of the defense team.

It's interesting how a woman can be acquitted of such serious charges, but I don't quite understand the judge's reasons for not pursuing the case. Sometimes justice is strange.
