Santa Maria Capua Vetere – After the notification of the conclusion of the preliminary investigations, signed by the Public Prosecutor of the Sammarinese Court, Dr. Valentina Santoro, the way to the trial is officially opened.
The trial will be presided over by Judge Dr. Giuseppe Zullo. Two entrepreneurs end up in the dock: Giovanni Izzo, 56 years old, resident in Sant'Agata dei Goti, and Fabrizio Izzo, 31 years old, from Maddaloni. The charges against them are serious: continued complicity in aggravated fraud and aggravated complicity in impersonation.
The contested facts date back to the end of 2017. According to the prosecution's hypothesis, the two entrepreneurs, father and son, owners of the company Ecologia Unitrans srl, allegedly carried out a series of frauds during the execution of a supply contract stipulated with the company ML di Giuseppe Maccarone, relating to waste disposal.
In particular, the Izzos allegedly issued false forms and, in parallel, substituted their own person for that of Bartolo Vigliotti, legal representative of the company Vigliotti srl. To this end, they allegedly used a falsified Vigliotti srl stamp and forged the signatures of the legal representative.
The trial arose from a complaint filed by lawyers Gaetano and Raffaele Crisileo, legal representatives of Giuseppe Maccarone and Bartolo Vigliotti, both injured parties in the crime. The case, which combines aspects of fraud and impersonation, promises to be a complex case, destined to dominate the courtrooms of San Marino.
Now, with the start of the trial, we await the detailed reconstruction of the facts and the outcome of a trial that could have significant repercussions for the defendants and the parties involved.
