The Vesuvius Observatory has detected a new seismic swarm in the Campi Flegrei in progress this morning. The seismic activity, which began at 06:25, has so far recorded five shocks, with the strongest of magnitude 1.7.

The Municipality of Pozzuoli has informed, through a press release on its Facebook page, that the Municipal Administration, in collaboration with the local Civil Protection, is carefully monitoring the situation.
The relevant authorities are ready to provide updates on the development of the phenomenon. Further press releases will be issued within 3/6 hours, depending on how the seismic swarm evolves.
