Salerno – Another attack on local public transport staff. Today, around 7 a.m., two ticket inspectors were attacked aboard a Salerno bus. Sita departing from Naples and headed to Salerno.

Diego Corace, provincial secretary of Salerno for Fit-Cisl, reported the incident, explaining that the attacker, who did not have a travel ticket, pushed and hit the two inspectors in order to get on board to reach Salerno.

“We firmly condemn any form of violence against our staff,” Corace stressed, “and we reiterate our commitment to the safety of all travellers and on-board staff.”

A couple from Avellino were attacked and robbed in the heart of Florence. The victims were entrepreneur Massimo Giordano and his wife, singer Mary Marisol Petruzziello.
