Sixty students from the Aldo Moro Institute in Ponticelli are narrating their 'anomalous' school for the big screen, telling the story of the initiative at the 'Casa dal Lungocollo' in eastern Naples. With the support of the production company Mad Entertainment, they have started filming the short film “ANOMALIA”.
Article Key Points
A winning project
Only ten Neapolitan projects won the call for proposals of the National Cinema and Images Plan for Schools, promoted by MiC and MiM. Among these, 'Anomalia' stands out, conceived by the Headmistress Barbara Di Cerbo, and created with the coordination of the Scientific Director Paola Tortora, leading a team of passionate teachers and families.
The symbol of a change
The 'Casa del Lungocollo', redeveloped by the director Di Cerbo, has become a reference center for students, thanks to the support of teachers and 'Super-mums'. This initiative aims to transform the school into a point of reference that intercepts problems early and offers support.
Storytelling and collaborative effort
The project includes various activities, including audiovisual literacy lessons and narration and theatre-education workshops. Key partners include the Dedalus Social Cooperative and the Youth Territorial Observatory, underlining the importance of synergies in the educational context. The audiovisual work will be presented in a public event, highlighting this innovative experiment.

It's interesting to see how school students can create a short film in difficult situations. I hope the anomaly project will bring visibility and improve conditions for other students in the future and beyond.
