Roma – A millionaire legal battle is set to erupt over the latest super win at Superenalotto.
A woman has in fact put forward a request to obtain half of the 88 million euro won by her husband, a 51-year-old from Naples, with whom she is undergoing separation proceedings.
The law firm revealed the story Francis of John of Rome, who assists the woman, a 45-year-old originally from Rovigo and a beautician by profession. According to what was reported by the lawyers, the marital crisis between the two was aggravated by the discovery of a betrayal by the husband, unmasked thanks to a private investigator.
The woman allegedly learned of the win through some messages that the man allegedly sent to his sister, in which he announced the stroke of luck. Now, through her lawyers, she has decided to claim half of the sum, asking a liquidation of 44 million euros or as an alternative, a maintenance allowance of 5.000 euros per month.
“The request will be formalized in the petition for judicial separation,” declared the woman’s lawyer, underlining how the win has a significant weight in defining the economic agreements between the spouses.
The case could soon end up in court, while the record Superenalotto win continues to be a topic of discussion.
