Terzigno – With the arrival of the warm season, the activities of Terzigno Verde, the environmental association committed to the enhancement of the Vesuvian territory, resume.
Article Key Points
The first event of the year combined nature and wellness, with a nature walk followed by an outdoor yoga session, organized by Francesco Servino and Rosaria Di Maria. The initiative attracted great participation, confirming the growing interest in the environmental resources of the area.
The route followed the Sentiero delle Madonnelle, crossing the bridge over the Campetiello lake, recently restored thanks to the intervention of forestry workers at the instigation of the association. This historic bridge, symbol of the Terzigno pine forest, led participants to a panoramic plateau, where they could admire the spectacular flowering of blue lupins.
In the last few years, Terzigno Verde has promoted numerous initiatives for environmental protection, attracting thousands of visitors and contributing to the rediscovery of often overlooked places.
Also for 2025, the association proposes a rich calendar of excursions along still little-known paths, offering immersive experiences to hikers and nature lovers.
Itineraries between Vesuvius and its surroundings
In addition to the events in the Terzigno area, the association will continue to organize guided tours in other municipalities, following last year's success. Valle del Sarno (Rio Santa Marina) and Bosco Crocelle in Palma Campania have already been the scene of highly attended initiatives, strengthening the network of collaborations with other local entities and promoting alternative tourist routes.
One of the main objectives of Terzigno Verde is to raise awareness among citizens and institutions about the need to protect and enhance the naturalistic heritage. The Vesuvius National Park contains a dense network of paths that need greater maintenance and promotion, including Path no. 11 “La Pineta di Terzigno”, also accessible to the disabled, and more challenging routes that lead to panoramic points and unique geological formations, such as the Valle dell'Inferno.
“Our initiatives are not limited to making the territory known, but also aim to raise awareness among institutions so that they invest more in the protection and promotion of environmental resources.
From this year, we have introduced the formula 'excursion and meditation', to offer an experience of reconnection with nature. In addition, we organize activities for children, to stimulate respect for the environment from an early age", explains Francesco Servino, president of Terzigno Verde.
The association invites all interested parties to follow the social pages to stay updated on upcoming events and participate in initiatives, actively contributing to the protection of the territory.
