The nearly two-hour phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump resulted in the two agreeing to a partial ceasefire.
Putin agreed to halt direct attacks on energy infrastructure.The stop in question will last 30 days. It should be indicatively the first step of a process that could in the future lead to a ceasefire in the Black Sea and end with a total ceasefire.
Putin He also explicitly asked the US president to end military aid and intelligence-sharing to the benefit of Kiev.Trump and Putin did not limit themselves to dealing with the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, but also discussed the situation in the Middle East and the Red Sea region.
The White House, through a note, also stressed that the two presidents expressed the need to improve bilateral relations between Russia and the United States.

The phone call between Putin and Trump was an important thing, but I don't know if a partial ceasefire will really solve the situation. Conflicts are complex and relations between countries need to improve.
