San Pietro al Tanagro – A dramatic road accident claimed the life of a 21-year-old last night. The accident occurred on Via della Sorgente, in the municipality of San Pietro al Tanagro, in the province of Salerno.
The emergency services intervened promptly on site. Carabinieri, the Fire Brigade and the 118 paramedics, but for the boy, originally from Sant'Arsenio, there was nothing that could be done: he died instantly.
According to an initial reconstruction, the young man lost control of his Lancia Ypsilon, violently crashing into a wall. The police are carrying out investigations to clarify the exact dynamics of the accident.
