NAPLES – Moments of fear in San Giovanni a Teduccio, where a patrol of the Local Police intervened to rescue a three-year-old girl unconscious in her mother’s arms.
The officers, realizing the gravity of the situation, immediately transported the little girl to the Ospedale del Mare, where the prompt intervention of paramedics allowed her to be resuscitated, averting further complications. This operation was part of a broader territorial control operation conducted by the Local Police in various areas of the city.
The Stella Operational Unit, operating in Municipality 3, conducted administrative checks on four commercial businesses, finding several irregularities: occupation of public land beyond authorized limits, lack of permits for the provision of food, and the absence of a certified notification of commencement of health care activity.
In Fuorigrotta, in via Caio Duilio, fines were issued for illegal occupation of public land, non-standard noise impact, lack of insurance on vehicles used for deliveries and lack of the necessary permits for the sale of food and alcohol.

Additionally, the owner of an auto repair shop was reported for urban planning violations and professional misconduct. In the San Carlo all'Arena neighborhood, on Via Gussone, a municipal-owned building, previously occupied by homeless people, was cleared and sanitized.
Road safety: checks and seizures in Chiaiano
The motorcycle officers of the Territorial Intervention Group Operational Unit have intensified checks on road traffic in via Emilio Scaglione, in the neighbourhood Chiaiano. The operation involved the use of ten units and nine vehicles including cars and motorcycles. During the checks, 80 vehicles were checked, with the seizure of two vehicles, eleven administrative detentions and the withdrawal of three licenses for various violations.
Overall, 48 violations were detected, including failure to wear a helmet, driving without insurance, driving without a vehicle inspection certificate, and failure to display driving documents. The work of the Local Police continues to ensure safety and compliance with regulations throughout the city, with interventions aimed at combating illegality and protecting the well-being of the community.
