On the eve of the challenge between Venezia and Napoli, the Italian coach Antonio Conte spoke about the importance of the match and the crucial phase of the season: with ten games still to play, every point becomes decisive in the race for the Scudetto.
One of the main themes concerns the attacking pair composed of Lukaku and Raspadori: “Having someone next to you can make the work of the first striker easier”, explained Conte. “Lukaku did well, but I expect more from tomorrow. He has to improve, like everyone else.”
The coach then underlined how fundamental it was to have the opportunity to work with the team throughout the week: "This helped us a lot. Without this time available it would have been difficult from every point of view, but we were good at always finding a solution to the difficulties".
Looking ahead to the end of the season, Conte reiterated the importance of approaching each match with maximum concentration: "We're coming in with a well-stocked tactical baggage and everything will count. But I'm only looking at the next match, which for us will have to be a World Cup final."
