Vico Equense – Hours of apprehension in the village of Seiano where a 92-year-old man disappeared yesterday evening.

The family launched an appeal via social media after filing a formal complaint at the local police station.
The man's name is Ciro Savarese but everyone knows him as Silvio. "Unfortunately, we don't know the exact time he left home. He was wearing black pajamas," his family wrote in their appeal on social media.
The elderly man is suffering from the beginning of Alzheimer's and has certainly lost his bearings. Anyone who has seen him wandering around the Sorrento peninsula is asked to notify the police.
