This morning, the Carabinieri of the Marcianise Company executed a house arrest warrant against a 31-year-old Roman man, believed to be responsible for aggravated sexual violence and sexual acts with a minor.
The order was issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
The investigation, conducted by the Carabinieri of the Marcianise Station and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, began in July 2024 and continued until October of the same year. The investigators collected serious evidence of guilt against the suspect, with no criminal record, also through complex forensic analyses of mobile devices.
The evidence collected during the investigation highlighted the commission of aggravated sexual violence, also perpetrated remotely via computer devices, against a 14-year-old minor suffering from a mental illness, a condition that made her particularly vulnerable. The young victim was repeatedly forced to perform sexually explicit acts.
