NAPLES - Tight controls in the heart of Vomero's nightlife: yesterday evening, the State Police, together with the Guardia di Finanza, the Local Police and the ASL Napoli 1 Centro, carried out a series of checks in the main areas of the neighborhood, including San Martino, via Giordano, via Falcone, via Scarlatti and the Medaglie d'Oro and Vanvitelli squares.
During the operation they were 226 subjects identified, among which 22 with police records.

The attention of the police has also focused on the nightlife venues: seven commercial establishments they were inspected and for some of them the following emerged significant irregularities relating to the management and safety of the products. One of the owners was fined for 2.000 € for failure to fill out the forms HACCP, essential to ensure hygiene and food safety.

The checks made yesterday in Vomero were important, but I'm not sure if they are enough to solve the problems. There are many illegal parking attendants and the safety of the premises is increasingly at risk. We must do more.
