Ukraine has no intention of giving up Crimea. This was clearly stated by Ukrainian President Zelensky in Oslo. The United States has repeatedly raised the possibility of more territorial cessions by the Ukrainians.
Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, partially invading Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, which were considered annexed by the Russians. Zelensky stressed Crimea's potential, but pointed out that without Ukrainians, tourism would not play a leading role and that Crimea is dying in Russian hands.
As for the Ukrainian nuclear power plants, the United States has guaranteed its willingness to operate them, so that their operation and safety can be monitored.
Clearly, Ukraine continues to harbor a clear distrust of Putin and does not believe, despite the 30-day ceasefire proposed by the United States, that the Russians want to end the conflict.
The entry of Ukrainians into NATO currently seems almost utopian, even the Secretary General of the Alliance, Rutte, considers it currently unlikely.
