In this theatrical production, the mythological figure of Eurydice is presented in a modern and autonomous way. The monologue explores the life of the protagonist through memories and intimate reflections. The traditional image of a silent muse associated with Orpheus is questioned. Director's Comment
**”Euridice’s is a visionary monologue, in Italian and Neapolitan, according to the bilingualism of Campania, a virtuoso game of changes of voices and characters, of dances and songs of desperate love. A reflection on the condition of women-nymphs, whose essence of free spirits and therefore irresistibly attractive, is repressed, so that either they transform into plants, rooted and immobile, with a silent vital energy mortified and constrained by woody limbs, or they rebel, unleashing the violent reaction of those who demand their succumb”.** The director’s commentary highlights the complexity and intensity of the monologue, representing the duality between submission and rebellion experienced by Euridice.

The article talks about an interesting show but I found the part about the best actress award not very clear. I wonder if Guarro also participated as an actress. It would be useful to have more details about the awards.
