Arzano, illegal occupation of public land: local police fines for over 20 thousand euros

Arzano, widespread checks by the local police to eradicate any prohibited conduct of occupation of public land and with it illegal trade.

The interventions are aimed at recovering spaces in various streets to be dedicated to pedestrian circulation and which are often taken away by the arrogant behavior of shopkeepers to display goods for sale or even by those who claim to keep a parking space with chairs and various objects.

The officers under the command of Commander Biagio Chiariello contested several irregularities in the rules of the highway code and trade, ranging from occupation of public land to failure to display prices, from failure to authorize the transport of goods to failure to provide insurance coverage.

In total, fines amounted to twenty thousand euros and about ten offenders were identified.
The interventions are a continuation of the checks in the area where three businesses had been closed for lack of authorization and the owners reported for illegal waste disposal.
