Naples – The Local Police continue to carry out tight controls in the western areas of the city, which are most affected by the bradyseismic phenomenon: at the instigation of the Prefect and the Local Police Councillor, the operations involved Agnano, Bagnoli, Fuorigrotta and soccavo, with the aim of guaranteeing legality and safety in territories already marked by particular environmental fragility.
The inspection activities, coordinated according to the directives that emerged in the latest meetings of the Committee for Public Order and Safety, led to the inspection of 27 commercial establishments: 11 were still closed, while 10 were sanctioned for a total of 39 infringements.
Among the irregularities found are the serving of food and drinks without authorization, the lack of health notification, the absence of acoustic certifications and the lack of permits for dance events or advertising signs. In two cases, the Local Police proceeded to seize the areas involved, reporting the owners for building violations and for the lack of the license necessary to hold public shows.
Particularly serious was the intervention that took place in via Coroglio, where a business was seized after having organized an event with approximately 3.000 participants, without any type of authorization and without a fire prevention certificate. Violations were also detected between via Pozzuoli and viale della Liberazione, where deficiencies in separate waste collection, unauthorized sale of alcohol and non-compliant building works were ascertained.

It is important that the Local Police checks areas like Agnano and Bagnoli for safety. However, it is strange that there are so many closed businesses and fines. We need to understand if the rules are clear for everyone.
