The Sports Judge of the Serie A League, Gerardo Mastrandrea, has handed down one-match suspensions to six players and two coaches following the matches of the 30th day of the championship: among the suspended coaches is Simone Inzaghi, coach of Inter, who will also have to serve a fine of 5.000 euros for his protests against the refereeing trio.
Among the players sent off, Jacopo Fazzini of Empoli was suspended for one match. Several players who were not sent off also received one-match suspensions: Nicolò Barella (Inter), Matteo Guendouzi (Lazio), Emmanuel Gyasi (Empoli), Alejandro Jimenez Sanchez (Milan), Alexis Saelemaekers (Roma).
In addition to Simone Inzaghi, forced to miss the next match for entering the field in the 48th minute of the second half to protest openly against a referee's decision, Antonio Tale (Napoli) will have to sit out for one round, due to a previous warning. Also sanctioned was Sergio Marcoin, Udinese's goalkeeping coach, who was sent off for vehemently contesting a referee's decision in the 49th minute of the second half, by getting up from the extra bench.
