The theater festival “Fo Teatro” concludes its second edition at the Teatro Delle Arti in Salerno. The event has distinguished itself for offering an innovative platform to contemporary theater proposals. The last show, entitled “War and Peace, the Papero's Cry”, will be performed on Thursday, April 3 at 21:00 pm, directed by Antonio Grimaldi.
A stage for reflection
The festival, created by Antonello Ronga and Chiara Natella, has staged a program focused on theatrical experimentation. The final work promises to explore fundamental themes such as evil, guilt, and dehumanization through the use of both modern and ancestral rhythms and rituals. In “War and Peace, the Paper’s Cry,” Grimaldi offers a reflection on human values, individual vulnerability, and the struggle for mutual respect.
A narrative beyond the human
The show stands out for its use of animal representations that offer a new interpretation of existence. The inclusion of figures such as holy rabbits and wild monkeys invites the audience to reflect on the connection between living beings, proposing purity and interaction as solutions to dehumanization. “Fo Teatro” closes the season with a work that not only stimulates a deep existential reflection, but promises to offer a theatrical experience that enriches and provokes the spectators' thoughts.

The theatre event in Salerno was very interesting even though I didn't understand everything. The animal representation is something new but sometimes it was difficult to follow the plot. Let's hope that next year will be better.
