Naples – A providential rescue operation conducted by the agents of the Naples North Highway Police, who on the night of March 26 saved the life of a 22-year-old boy who was injured and unconscious on a slope along the SS 162, near the motorway junction Acerra-Afragola.
It all started with a report of a road accident: a patrol, promptly arriving on the scene, found a scooter abandoned on the asphalt, with no trace of the driver. The obvious scratches left by the vehicle for over 20 meters immediately made one suspect the worst.
Fearing that the boy might have been seriously injured, the officers contacted all the hospitals in the area, but to no avail. At that point, a tight search began in the surrounding area, until they decided to explore the embankment next to the roadway. Using a tow rope supplied to the service vehicle, the officers lowered themselves into the thick brambles, until they found the young man lying motionless, with his helmet still on and unconscious.
Thanks to the timely intervention, the boy regained consciousness just as he was being rescued. Immediately after, the 118 health workers and the Fire Department were alerted, who collaborated to bring him back to safety and transport him urgently to the Cardarelli in Naples, where he received the necessary care.

The rescue operation seems to have been very important, but it is not clear how everything happened. I read that the young man was unconscious, I hope that now he is well and has been treated as he should.
