Two street cleaners, on duty on board a compactor for the collection of paper, were filmed by a video surveillance camera while abandoning large cardboard boxes at the corner between Diomede Carafa Street and another cross street in the neighborhood Bagnoli.
Le images, filmed in the evening, were sent by a citizen to the deputy of the Green Left Alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
The video clearly shows the two operators of ASIA Naples while they unload the material directly from the company vehicle and move away immediately afterwards, leaving rubbish on the sidewalk.
“We have forwarded everything to the top management of the company so that they can proceed with the identification of those responsible for this despicable act – commented Borrelli –. ASIA cannot remain silent: if confirmed, this is a serious behavior that completely betrays the meaning of their work. Abandoning waste on the street is an unacceptable act and must be sanctioned in an exemplary manner.”
